Telefonica
Is any one else having problems with their internet connection? For the past 3 weeks we have lost our connection on either the Wednesday or Thursday. After chasing Telefonica each time we get it back,but only after a time, first week was 2 days, this week only half a day. But this time they sent out an engineer who said that everyone else was having the same problem from Elche, Torrevieja, and even Los Montisinos. He went away saying he could not fix it but that eventually he said it would restart. Well it did later on in the evening. BUT WERE OTHERS HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM? at the same time? If so please post back up here on the wall. Our phone line was at all times still working.
Ian I had trouble last weekend, I lost the internet and phone for hours but, it came back in later. I put it down to the weather? We are with Ole.
Yes I also had the same problems but I add this is the first for a long time I fact in the 10 years I have been with them it has only gone down 5 times 3 of those are the recent ones so no complaint from me.
I have to say i have never had any problems with Ole. I did have a problem some time ago and a young man came along, got on the roof, altered the antennae and bingo it was all ok. After sales service fantastic and all for a very reasonable price. Telefonica did me a favour 5 years ago when we moved from Almoradi, they did not go out of their way to accommodate us with a phone line, even though there is a pole right by our house so we found an alternative. The first company we went with were ok but we kept losing everything, so we moved to Ole. You can keep your old phone number if you wish.
OMG are there still people in the world who are still with telefonica. go satelite get a life.
If you leave telefonica and go Satellite they give you a new number. That I do not wish to do
To Chris & ian I went to TELECABLE they did all the transfers, and more importantly i kept my number.

I have looked at the prices and I think a visit to their offices may be a good idea, cheers for the info
Once again no internet on Thursday for a few hours then Friday it went off in the afternoon and was not back on until after lunch today
